I serve this all the time with the pulled pork sandwiches. It is excellent on top or as a side dish. I does tend to get a bit runny. I haven't figured out how to combat that yet. If you have any ideas, let me know!
1 head green cabbage, finely shredded
2 large carrots, finely shredded
3/4 c. Best Foods mayo
2 Tbsp. sour cream
2 Tbsp. grated spanish (purple) onion
2 Tbsp. sugar - or to taste
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. celery salt
salt and freshly grated black pepper
- Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayo, sour cream, onion, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery salt, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Combine dressing and slaw mix. Taste for seasoning. Add more salt, pepper or sugar if desired.
