Craker Cookies

These were made by Maggie Wright for a work function. I was amazed at how good they were when I saw the ingredients!

Ingredients
Box of Club crackers
1 pkg. milk chocolate chips
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
Chopped almonds

Directions
  1. Line a large cookie sheet with foil
  2. Place club crackers flat on bottom of pan, end to end, one high
  3. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and butter, bring to a boil & pour over crackers
  4. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes
  5. Remove from oven - pour package of chocolate chips over crackers, smooth out. If not melted completely, put back in oven. Check after 1 minute to see if melted.
  6. Spread completely and sprinkle almonds on top.
  7. Put pan in freezer at least 1 hour. Remove and break into pieces.
